Tobacco use

For how many years do you want to live? Live longer, stop cigarettes

Tobacco use Control

Tobacco use is a global public health problem, leading to over 50 tobacco-related diseases for smokers. Working with smokers since 1992, HCor – Heart Hospital – proposes a new form of online psychological support, Life Without Cigarettes.

How does it work?

The program 'How long do you want to live? Live more, stop cigarettes', offers benefits for employees and the company. “A smoking employee costs about $6,000 more than a non-smoker. Expenses include decreased productivity, work absences, and medical consultations”.

Employees undergo screening to structure a medical record with individual data, such as: smoking profile, psychological status, presence of comorbidities, level of nicotine dependence, motivation, and preparation for the task of quitting smoking.
